Today we drove about an hour north to a really great walled artist city- the birthplace of Raffaelo. On the way, we saw a lot of vineyards, and finally the intense field of red poppies that we've been looking for! It was absolutely amazing... Italia has inspired me and I've been cooking- pine nut and rosemary encrusted chicken... we enjoyed it with a bottle of local white, very good.
